  • The Spiritual Life Conference

    Are you looking to grow and deepen in your spiritual life? Are you interested in what it means to be a fully-devoted follower of Christ? Do you desire to know and love Christ more fully?


    Then we invite you to save the date for our Spiritual Life Conference at New Covenant Presbyterian Church on September 9th-10th, 2023. 


    Over the course of several sessions, Rev. Rob Looper will be leading us through David Mathis' book Habits of Grace, as a way of encouraging us all to pursue a deeper walk with Christ through his means of grace.


    Please join us on Saturday, September 9th from 8 am-2 pm (lunch provided), and then again on Sunday, September 10th at 9:30 for a final session during our Sunday School Hour.

    Guest Speaker : Rev. Rob Looper


    Rev. Rob Looper attended both Clemson University and the University of South Carolina (USC), graduating in 1988. It was at USC, through Reformed University Fellowship, that he came to know the Lord and believed God was directing him to pastoral ministry. Rob then attended Covenant Theological Seminary and met his wife, Lisa. In 1993, he received his Master of Divinity degree and was ordained in Missouri Presbytery and ministered at Twin Oaks Presbyterian church until 1998. He served as Senior Pastor at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Tuscaloosa for three years, then at McIlwain Presbyterian Church in Pensacola, FL for 20 years. In 2022, the Lord called Rob to serve as National Missions and Church Revitalization Pastor at Briarwood.
